Delta Interior Design production organization is trimmed for customer-oriented flexibility and rapid execution with the capability of part manufacturing (also through reverse engineering, where needed), with the highest standards of craftsmanship.
Materials include light alloys and the whole range of composites and plastics (by injection molding or thermoforming). Products include cabin panels, monuments, cabinets and seat parts, both of own and other manufacturer’s design (for their own programs).
The related activities start from co-design parts up to series productions, passing through 3D solid modeling design, FEM analysis, master model, tools and ply-books, selecting the appropriate composite process technology, including autoclave, wet lay-up and press molding.
Our main facilities are: one clean room; 2 plotters for pre-preg and honeycomb cutting; one wrapping machine; 2 autoclaves; 20 presses; mechanical laboratory with 2 CNC five axis machines.
Panels and finished products are delivered as certified airworthy items, completed with their accessories and fitting provisions installed. Logistics include accurate supply chain management.
We take care of the procurement and supervises all production phases in order to guarantee flawless work advancement and on-time delivery.
Most parts, usually dedicated to complement structural support and installation means, are purchased by Delta Interior skilled buyers who identify the most suitable suppliers in the area and maintain the correct stock level throughout the duration of the program.
Composite lay-up, as well as flat sandwich panels, represent the core business in Delta Interior Design. A robotized system complemented with a full-vacuum bed enables performing precise working at very competitive rates and restricted timeframes. The array of usable spindles installable on this machine gives the manufacturing department huge performance flexibility to easily move from soft (low-density and modeling foams, plastics) to harder materials (wood, aluminum, composites, resins).
